Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Tiffly iOS application ("the App"), published by Pergel ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. License
Subject to these Terms and to Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps distributed through the App Store, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control and as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
You may not: (a) copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where permitted by law; (b) rent, lease, sublicense, sell, or redistribute the App; (c) use the App to develop a competing product; or (d) remove or alter any proprietary notices.
3. Purchases — Tiffly Pro
Tiffly Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks additional features (for example, unlimited batch export, OCR text extraction, password-protected PDFs, and removal of ads). Pro is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID using the "Restore Purchases" button. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's standard policy at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue refunds directly.
4. Acceptable use
You are responsible for the TIFF and PDF files you open, create, and export with the App. You agree not to use the App to view, create, or distribute content that: (a) infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others; (b) is illegal where you are located or where the recipient is located; or (c) violates applicable export-control laws.
5. Your content
Your files are yours. We do not claim any ownership of the TIFFs, PDFs, or other content you process with the App. Because files are handled entirely on your device, we do not access them and cannot retrieve or delete them on your behalf.
6. Advertising
The free tier of Tiffly is ad-supported. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob. Upgrading to Tiffly Pro removes ads. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data ads involve and how to control tracking.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that (a) the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, (b) defects will be corrected, or (c) OCR results will be accurate for every document. You are responsible for keeping backups of important files.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pergel and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the App — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim and (b) fifty US dollars.
9. Apple-specific terms
These Terms are between you and Pergel, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its contents. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the App to you. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you inside the App. Continued use of the App after the change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive venue for disputes is the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Turkey. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
